Athletic Bilbao are having a solid season so far. Right now they are 6th in the league with 26 points, just one point behind their biggest rival Real Sociedad and the Top 4. With this way of performance Athletic could even dream for a Champions League qualification. They are pretty good so far.

The Basques enjoyed a run of three consecutive wins in La Liga before their 2-3 visit to Real Betis in the previous round. Inaki Williams from a penalty kick and Yuri scored for the visitors, but before this the hosts managed to score three times in Unai Simon’s net.

Athletic can’t use some of their players for this match. Iker Muniain, Aritz Aduriz, Oscar De Marcos and Cristian Ganea are all missing this game because of injuries.

Eibar could use some points right now. At the moment they are 16th in the league with 15 points, just two points above the 18th Celta and the danger zone. But in terms of current form, they are not doing very well – four losses in their last four games.
