Real Betis faces Getafe at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in Sevilla

Real Betis faces Getafe at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in Sevilla in a clash from the fourth round of the Spanish La Liga. Let’s take a look at this fixture in our La Liga predictions.

Real Betis probably hoped for a better start of the season. Los Verdiblancos had a really tough beginning of the campaign, losing their first two matches against Real Valladolid and Barcelona. Betis finally bounced back in the third round when they achieved their first win for the season. Rubi’s team hosted Leganes at home and achieved a 2-1 win. Loren Moron and Nabil Fekir turned the game around after Martin Braithwaite’s opener for Leganes.

Rubi has some problems before the home game against Getafe. The midfielder Francis and the winger Cristian Tello are missing the match because of injuries.

Getafe can’t be satisfied with their performance in the league so far. Last season they were fighting for a Champions League qualification, but right now they have just two points from three games played, still being without a win.

In the previous round Getafe recorded a second consecutive draw in the league. Jose Bordalas’ boys hosted Deportivo Alaves at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, but missed the opportunity to record a first win. Jorge Molina opened the score for Marea Azul, but the visitors equalised just seven minutes later. Joselu put the ball in David Soria’s net and secured a point for the visitors.

Getafe’s manager Jose Bordalas can’t use three of his players for the visit to Estadio Benito Villamarin. Amath Ndiaye, Filip Manojlovic and Antunes are all missing the game because of injuries.

In our La Liga predictions we believe that Real Betis are a slight favourite against Getafe in this match from the fourth round of the league. But in same time we think that Getafe will start winning more points on a regular basis, so they are going to be a dangerous opponent.
